Suzuki DR-Z400: Which EDGECO parts fit?

DR-Z400 is not the same as DR-Z4S or DR-Z4SM. This overview will help you choose EDGECO accessories for the motorcycle you actually have. For modified bikes, the original model designation and year alone do not confirm fitment.

Fitment overview

  • Axle Sliders: for the previous DR-Z400 series, including the S, E and SM, with original axles. Not for the DR-Z4S or DR-Z4SM.
  • Replacement caps: exclusively for existing EDGECO Axle Sliders for the previous DR-Z400 series. Not a complete axle protection system.
  • PETG oil filler funnel: for the DR-Z400 / S / E / SM with the original oil filler opening. Not for the DR-Z4S or DR-Z4SM.
  • Rear brake disc guard: confirmed only for the previous DR-Z400SM with original mounting points. Fits the original rear disc or an aftermarket disc up to the original diameter. Fitment for the S and E is not confirmed.
  • Bar Ends: the key requirements are an actual handlebar inner diameter of 14 mm and open ends prepared to fit. Measure before ordering.

Front axle, rear axle or both?

A front axle set includes an M8 threaded rod and two sliders. A rear axle set includes an M10 threaded rod and two sliders. The front + rear set includes both versions: two threaded rods and four sliders. The axle assemblies are supplied preassembled.

  1. Check the exact model generation on the motorcycle or in its documents.
  2. Check whether the axles, handlebars, tank or mounting points have been modified.
  3. Read the fitment and scope of delivery details for the relevant product.
